CALL FOR IDEAS which seeks speculation on ephemeral architectures, temporary inhabitation, and flexible designs.  This hypothetical project looks to provide a critique on — and allude to — possible changes to the urban construct.  Festival Urbanism aims to enable open public participation through the creation of this virtual platform, allowing collaborative engagement through this electronic infrastructure of visualization.  What would you design?  What artwork would you create?  Where would you camp?

Festival Urbanism is a speculative international open call for proposals to participate in the collaborative thesis project of Gabriella Morrone at Syracuse University. Your participation is requested. Submissions will be collected and integrated into an online presentation as part of the virtual festival on this website.
